Music is a universal language that we all can learn, offering endless opportunity for joy and delight. I teach students of all ages, exploring classical, pop, blues, and jazz.

Learn the secrets of well-directed mindful practice. Beginners can make good progress on ½-hour of practice a day, six days a week. More advanced students will want to increase their practice time according to their level.

I currently serve on the Board of the Seattle Music Teachers Association and on the Board and Selection Committe of Ars Nova Music Publishing. I lived, studied, and trained in Europe and the United States. My bachelor's was done at Harvard University and I got my Master's in Organ Performance from University of Washington.

I studied the organ with Roger Sherman, organist at St. Mark's Cathedral and founder and director of The Organ Loft, J. Melvin Butler, former choirmaster/organist at St. Mark's Cathedral, and Carole Terry, professor of organ and harpsichord at the University of Washington.

I studied piano with Ruth Slyncenska, concert pianist, Paul Creston, the American Composer, and Gary VanderMei, piano teacher and performance coach.
