I have twice been chosen to play with symphonies and have taught piano for many years.

I wrote songs and instrumental music for various plays and performances in Seattle, including a production called "Word of Mouth" which was performed for 4 years. I wrote works for the Seattle Repertory Theater, Poncho Theater, New City Theater, and the Empty Space Theater.

The Northwest Chamber Orchestra commissioned a work from me called "Suite in Two Movements" which they kept in their repertoire for many repeat performances.

I studied with Ronald Ratclif and Mayo Goffard in Richland, Washington; with Kenneth Benshoof, Professor of Music, University of Washington; and with Francis Schwartz, Professor of Music, University of Puerto Rico.

I was Professor of Music at the University of San German, Puerto Rico where I taught music, coached singers, and accompanied choirs and students.

I have taught piano for many years and find it the most creative of endeavors, both for the teacher and the student. I emphasize performance and like to bring students to performance level for select pieces. I give recitals that are always optional but encouraged and fun.

I teach all ages and can build a firm foundation for further study. My style of teaching is gentle and effective and builds confidence in the students. I feel that it is a pleasure and honor to help someone find their musical essence to share with the world and to master pieces with great skill and artistry.
